Swami Vivekananda Vani Prachar Samity runs 18 non-formal (not-affiliated to Govt. board) education centers in and around of Durgapur Steel Township. 15 out of 18 centers are situated in nearby rural tribal villages or economically backward areas and rest 3 centres in slum area of Durgapur Steel Township. Present student strength in 1527.
