Mission & vision:
Upliftment of the weaker section of society by serving them in the field of education, health, sanitation, vocational training and economic rehabilitation and through spiritually and value added education.
Means & objectives:
1) To practice and propagate the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda. Conducting spiritual discourses. 2) To conduct value added classes with the help of monks Ramakrishna Math & Mission centres. 3) Spread of education to the under-privileged with emphasis on self-employment and self-sufficiency. 4) Conduct vocational trainings and entrepreneurship programs through government and other NGOs. 5) Rural development through basic education, sanitation, health care, employment generation etc. 6) Upliftment of women through SHGs and conducting women empowerment projects. 7) Medical services by running one medical & health care, charitable homeopathy dispensary and conducting medical camps at various locations.
Award Received
The Samity received the ‘Nivedita Samman – 2016’ awarded by Sister Nivedita Mission, Kolkata for the selfless, voluntary, social work on 27th October, 2016 from Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal. The programme was organized on the eve of the 150th birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita at Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Gol Park, Kolkata.
